2023 World Seniors Championship Runner-Up
38 (2001-2003)
Alfie Burden reached the final of the 2023 World Seniors Championship at the iconic Crucible Theatre with impressive victories over former world champions Ken Doherty and Stephen Hendry.
Following dominant wins against Doherty and Hendry, Burden then overcame Ben Hancorn 4-1 in the semi-final to set up a final meeting with Jimmy White.
Trailing 4-1 in a best-of-nine frame contest, Burden rallied to reduce his deficit to just a single frame before White eventually got over the line with a break of 84 to secure his fourth World Seniors Championship title.
A four-time ranking event quarter-finalist, the London cueist has competed on the World Snooker Tour for over 20 years and regained his professional status in 2021 via Q School.
