Draw Made for Mr Vegas Snooker

The Group stage draw has been made for the Mr Vegas Snooker, a new an exciting event for the World Seniors Snooker Tour which will be shown live and exclusively on Channel 5 within the UK.

To be held at Epsom Racecourse, home of the Derby Festival, the event will take place on Friday 29 December with tickets still available (contact HERE for more information).

Among the headline matches in Group A will be a mouthwatering clash between seven-time world champion Stephen Hendry and four-time World Seniors Championship winner Jimmy White. The pair famously met in four World Championship finals during the 1990s as the pair enjoyed an iconic rivalry throughout the decade. The group is also set to feature 1985 world champion Dennis Taylor, will will begin his 50th year of competitive snooker on TV.

Group B will kick off with a fascinating clash between 1997 world champion Ken Doherty and 1986 world champion Joe Johnson, while former world number two Tony Knowles – who shocked the world over 40 years ago when he defeated defending champion Steve Davis 10-1 at the World Championship – completes the group.

With each match to played over a single frame of 15 minutes, the action is sure to be fast and furious, with a 20 second shot clock also in play. The top two from each group will progress to the semi-finals where it moves to a straight knockout.
