Barry Pinches is a former ranking event winner who reached the semi-finals of the 2024 World Seniors Championship at the Crucible Theatre.
Making only his third appearance in the World Seniors Championship, the cueist from Norwich defeated Joe Johnson and James Wattana at snooker’s most iconic venue before losing out to Ken Doherty in the last four.
He had previously reached the final of the Seniors Masters at the same venue back in 2019, losing to Johnson in the final on that occasion, and claimed his maiden professional title in 2010 by defeating Ronnie O’Sullivan in the final of the fourth event of the Players Tour Championship.
