2016 World Seniors Champion

Mark Davis won the 2016 World Seniors Championship with a 2-1 victory over former champion Darren Morgan at the Preston Guild Hall.
Davis navigated through a strong field by overcoming Ken Doherty, Robert Milkins and Rory McLeod before securing the title in the deciding frame of the final.
A former ranking event runner-up on the World Snooker Tour, Davis has been an ever-present on the professional tour since 1991 and is nicknamed ‘The Battler from Hastings’.
As well as his World Seniors Championship crown, the Englishman is also a three-time World 6-Red champion having won the title in 2009, 2012 and 2013.
