7x World Champion
1 (1990-1998, 2006-07)
Stephen Hendry is one of snooker’s all-time greats and remains the player with the joint-most World Championship titles to his name in the modern era, along with Ronnie O’Sullivan, following his record seven Crucible crowns won from 1990-1999.
He has won 36 professional ranking titles to date, including 18 Triple Crown titles, as well as having compiled 11 maximum breaks during his career. Hendry also spent nine seasons as world number one and is the only player to have won each of the sport’s Triple Crown titles during the same season twice.
On the World Seniors tour, Hendry has twice reached the semi-finals of the World Seniors Championship and lifted the Mr Vegas World Seniors Snooker 900 title in Epsom in December 2023 by defeating Jimmy White in the final.
