World Seniors Championship to be Held Behind Closed Doors

We can today announce that we have taken the decision to stage the upcoming ROKiT World Seniors Championship behind closed doors without spectators.

Although it has been greatly encouraging to see the ongoing Betfred World Championship take place with spectators as part of the government’s Events Research Programme, the return of spectators to live sporting events in England remains at its very early stages at this time and not without significant challenges.

It is with this in mind, that we have taken the difficult, but necessary decision to stage this event behind closed doors, with the intention being that fans will be able to return for this year’s UK Seniors Championship in Hull this August.
