The World Seniors Snooker (WSS) ranking lists have been updated following the fifth World Seniors Tour event of the 2025/26 season at The Crucible Club in Reading.
The top two players on the official WSS ranking list, as well as the top two on the ‘Race to the Crucible’ one-year list will earn their places in the World Seniors Championship.
One point is awarded for each frame won at an event and, should the same players sit in the top two of both rankings lists, then the official world rankings would take priority.

Jersey’s Aaron Canavan remains in top spot on the official two-year World Seniors Snooker ranking list after continuing his streak of reaching at least the quarter-finals of each event so far this season.
The former World Seniors Snooker Championship winner has increased his lead at the top to 38 points and sits in poll position for a return to the Crucible Theatre where he finished as the runner-up in 2025.
Wayne Townsend’s run to the semi-final has seen him climb into second place, overtaking Alfie Burden who was in Blackpool on the same weekend lifting the Snooker Shoot Out ranking event title.
Double-event winner Gerard Greene, who was denied a hat-trick of titles by Daniel Ward in last weekend’s final, sits in fourth position while Ward climbs to 18th in the two-year list as a result of his maiden success on the World Seniors Tour.

Aaron Canavan also maintains his place at the top of the one-year ‘Race to the Crucible’ ranking list with five of the nine events now completed.
Canavan holds a six-point lead on Gerard Greene, who rises to second as a result of reaching a third consecutive final last weekend in Reading.
Wayne Townsend, who reached the semi-finals, drops to third but is just one point behind Greene as the race heats up.
The top five is completed by Dharminder Lilly andDaniel Ward, who moves into the top five as a result of his victory in Reading.

John Hunter has moved further ahead at the top of the Super Seniors ranking list after winning his second title of the season on Sunday in Reading.
Hunter defeated Neil Carroll, who climbs to fourth, in last weekend’s final to open up a 12-point lead on second placed David Brock.
The remainder of the top five is made up by Dennis Tristram, in third, and fifth placed Andrew Barrett.
