The World Seniors Snooker (WSS) ranking lists have been updated following the seventh World Seniors Tour event of the 2025/26 season at The Crucible Club in Reading.
The top two players on the official WSS ranking list, as well as the top two on the ‘Race to the Crucible’ one-year list will earn their places in the World Seniors Championship.
One point is awarded for each frame won at an event and, should the same players sit in the top two of both rankings lists, then the official world rankings would take priority.

Jersey’s Aaron Canavan has remained in first position on the World Seniors Snooker two-year ranking list despite falling at the last 32 stage in Reading last weekend.
The 50-year-old former World Seniors champion, who finished runner-up at the Crucible Theatre last May, failed to reach at least the quarter-final stage of an event for the first time this season but his consistency across the campaign has seen him maintain top spot.
Event seven champion Gerard Greene, who has won four of the last five titles on the World Seniors Tour, continues to climb the rankings as he rises to second place in the two-year list – 35 points behind first.
Wayne Townsend, who made his Crucible debut in 2025, falls to third but is just three points behind the automatic qualification places. Previous event winners Alfie Burden, who is already guaranteed his place in the World Seniors Championship as defending champion, and Dharminder Lilly complete the top five.

Gerard Greene has moved to the top of the one-year ‘Race to the Crucible’ ranking list by securing his fourth title of the campaign.
Greene has dominated the 2025/26 campaign and has reached the last five event finals, winning four of them, which has seen him overtake Jersey’s Aaron Canavan into top spot with a 16 point advantage.
Canavan, who leads the two-year list, falls to second in the one-year list and holds a seven point leads over third-placed Wayne Townsend.
The rest of the top five sees Stuart Watson, a former World Seniors Snooker number one, and previous event winner Daniel Ward in the race.

John Hunter has extended his lead at the top of the Super Seniors ranking list after winning the event seven title in Reading last weekend.
The 59-year-old completed his hat-trick of titles during the 2025/26 campaign by defeating David Moritz 2-0 in the title match at The Crucible Club.
A run to the final has seen Moritz rise to 14th in the rankings, while Hunter now holds a 17 point lead over second-placed David Brock. The remainder of the top five is made up by Neil Carroll, Dennis Tristram and Mark Evans.
