The World Seniors Snooker (WSS) ranking lists have been updated following the second World Seniors Tour event of the 2025/26 season at The Crucible Club in Reading last weekend.
The top two players on the official WSS ranking list, as well as the top two on the ‘Race to the Crucible’ one-year list will earn their places in the World Seniors Championship.
One point is awarded for each frame won at an event and, should the same players sit in the top two of both rankings lists, then the official world rankings would take priority.

Jersey’s Aaron Canavan has maintained his position as the WSS world number one following a run to the semi-finals of event two last weekend.
The 50-year-old has increased his lead at the summit and sits 32 points ahead of Wayne Townsend, who climbs to second ahead of this year’s World Seniors Championship winner Alfie Burden – who did not compete in Reading.
Event two champion Dharminder Lilly moves up one place to fourth while former professional Philip Williams take fifth position.
The remainder of the top 10 is made up by Andrew Norman, Gerard Greene, Nigel Howe, Stuart Watson and Neil Craycraft.

Dharminder Lilly has climbed to top spot in the one-year ‘Race to the Crucible’ ranking list after victory in the second event of the new campaign.
The 50-year-old holds a two-point lead over Jersey’s Aaron Canavan, who has reached a final and a semi-final so far this season.
Wayne Townsend, event two finalist Daniel Ward and Stuart Watson make up the rest of the top five while event one champion Alfie Burden has dropped from first to seventh position.
A notable debutant this weekend was 73-year-old John Rea, who was a professional between 1984 and 1994, and he enters the ranking list in 27th.

Victory in Reading for John Hunter has seen him maintain his position at the top of the Super Seniors ranking list.
The 59-year-old defeated Ashley Beal, who climbs to 15th, in the final of the latest event in Reading to open up a nine-point lead.
David Brock sits in second place while the rest of the top five is made up by Dennis Tristram, Karl Townsend and Anthony Harris.
Event 3 takes place at The Crucible Club in Reading on 10-12 October and entries remain open – enter now via WPBSA SnookerScores.
